Join us at The Batch Yard as spring unfurls its vibrant tapestry and Earth Day beckons us to embrace our planet! We’re diving into a world of renewal and rejuvenation. Join us as we celebrate the season of growth, greenery, and the joy of spring cleaning, too!

We all know the perks of a clean and organized environment – from uplifting our spirits to fueling our creativity. Let’s dive into some tips and tricks, making your spring cleaning spree a breeze.

Practical organization is key. Rather than striving for perfection, aim for functionality and usability. And, don’t forget those oft-neglected spots like baseboards and window treatments.

The Batch Yard cannot wait to celebrate Earth Day 2024 with our community. We’re gearing up for a celebration of our beautiful planet and a call to action for a sustainable future.

This year, Earthday.org has provided a theme for this upcoming Earth Day: Planet vs. Plastics. Focusing on the urgent need to combat plastic pollution, and protect human and planetary health. With demands for a 60% reduction in plastic production by 2040.

We encourage our residents to participate in Earth Day in as many ways as possible. In fact, The Batch Yard urges our community members to continue their Earth Day activities all year.

Everett, MA Celebrates Women’s History Month with The Batch Yard

Women’s History Month is here! Officially beginning in 1995, every March is an opportunity to celebrate women’s history, excellence, and achievements. The month was created to amplify the voices of women, celebrate the many contributions women have made to the United States, and recognize specific achievements made throughout history. From the first female self-made millionaire, C.J. Walker, to the first female Vice President, Kamala Harris- this is time to learn, recognize, and honor the history of incredible women.

In 2024, the theme for Women’s History Month this year is “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.” This theme is specifically designed to recognize women in the United States who fight for a positive future through eliminating bias and discrimination from our society. This year, we are especially honoring women who have taken the lead to show the importance of change.

The Batch Yard encourages you to take the time to reflect and celebrate the amazing women through history and within your personal life. Additionally, take the time to recognize the gender inequalities that still exist today. Use this time to work toward a more equitable future. Through the process of equity, we can reach equality. Appreciate and celebrate the women in your life not only this month but every month.
