The Everett Museum of History doesn’t just play host to historical artifacts, it’s actually a part of local history itself. The museum has lived in many different locations since it opened in 1954 with the goal of connecting the community to its heritage. Next year, the museum will finally land in a permanent home. Until then, you can continue to check out its exhibits around the area.
The Index-Pickett Historical Museum, the Mukilteo Historical Society, and the Hampton Inn Everett all currently play host to some of the museum’s collection of 65,000-plus artifacts. The exhibits include pieces like Lee Pickett’s vintage box camera. Keep an eye out for special events and pop-up exhibits, as well. Coming up on Sunday, February 23rd, the Hibulb Cultural Center will host a special presentation by Penny Buse about the history of Warm Beach.
