Less than 10 minutes away from Boston sits a rustic yet cozy restaurant that transports Bostonians to the heart of Peru.
Located in Chelsea, MA, Tambo 22 is a small Peruvian restaurant and cocktail bar that features local and sustainable food, as well as specialty cocktails, local and Peruvian beers, and so much more.
Inspired by Incan Peruvian culture, Tambo 22 was created to bring elevated Peruvian-inspired cuisine to food lovers everywhere. Tambo 22 is headed by Chef Jose Duarte and Chef Chris Titus, who bring over 20 years of culinary expertise to the Boston area.
As part of the restaurant’s mission to bring Peruvian culture to the Boston area, Chef Duarte has worked closely with the Santa Cruz Lodge, an eco-lodge that has been supporting the local Andrean community. Between the two establishments lies a direct link of shared cultures.
Alongside Chefs Duarte and Titus are Brian and Taylor Corcoran, a husband and wife duo who help manage the day-to-day operations of Tambo 22.
Tambo 22 is the perfect place for foodies and cocktail lovers to explore Peruvian culture. The restaurant is open Wednesdays through Sundays and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
