Films in the Mugar

Not just any theater sits less than three miles from your door step at the Batch Yard – it’s the IMAX people, so let’s take in a movie!

Our neighboring city of Cambridge is lucky to play host to the Museum of Science, and one of its most revered parts is the extraordinary Mugar Omni Theater, which programs both educational and fun IMAX Films for all ages.

Though it’s been around for some time, many of you have probably yet to experience IMAX, but it’s finally time to give in. IMAX is the world’s largest film format projected onto an impressive five-story tall IMAX Dome screen. This special screen makes the audience feel wrapped in larger-than-life imagery and is complete with a state-of-the-art digital sound system. Have you always wanted to visit the Galapagos?
