Our neighboring city of Cambridge is lucky to play host to the Museum of Science, and one of its most revered parts is the extraordinary Mugar Omni Theater, which programs both educational and fun IMAX Films for all ages.
Though it’s been around for some time, many of you have probably yet to experience IMAX, but it’s finally time to give in. IMAX is the world’s largest film format projected onto an impressive five-story tall IMAX Dome screen. This special screen makes the audience feel wrapped in larger-than-life imagery and is complete with a state-of-the-art digital sound system. Have you always wanted to visit the Galapagos? Well, this is as close as it gets sans plane ticket.
Fill your wintry days with the outdoors – now playing is Galapagos, Pandas: The Journey Home, Mystery of the Maya, and Humpback Whales opens soon on Feb 13.
